I have a 1968 vette with a sagging front end. In 1969 they inserted two brackets to prevent this from happening. I have the brackets but would like some advice on how to;
1)Install them correctly 2)Raise the front end to stock level (it's about 1 inch below the hood now!) 3)Repair the resulting cracks around the hood hinge area
The car is 85% restored but is not a "Gold". I an at the break-even point with the car. Going to a repair shop would probably cost me $2,000+ which I really don't want to invest. I use it as a driver in the summer and store it otherwise.
Any help would be appreciated.
