    C:3 1969 N-14 Insulation

I am restoring an early 69 and do not know how to install the new side exhaust insulation pieces. I have read through the assembly manual and it isn't very clear on how the piece that goes on the frame is installed. Also I would appreciate any help on the other matted ribbed reinforced pieces that go under the body.

Gary, the fiberglass insulator that attatches to the chrome side exhaust cover is held to the frame via front and rear metal brackets. The front is held to the frame with 2 screws. The rear uses 1 nut and bolt in the "keyway" type opening in the frame. There is also fiberglass insulation tucked up along the outboard length of the frame rail. Hope this helps, Tom
