Hello,
I am considering the purchase of an out of state 1973 convertible. The deck lid is popped up somewhat (maybe 1/2" - 3/4") on the left rear corner, which is where the hinge is. The right side is fine. Otherwise, the deck lid appears to fit in its cutout with reasonably good panel gaps, and the entire car appears to have good panel gaps throughout from the many photos I've seen. The owner acknowledges the misalignment, but says the deck lid closes with no problem, so has lived with it.
I am looking for some guidance on this, is it a relatively easy fix, what may be involved to correct it?
Thanks.
Dave
