    Kurt Geis Passed

    Kurt Geis, Midway-USA Chapter Chairman emeritus, died Friday, April 14th in Wichita, Kansas. Kurt was instrumental in establishing the Midway chapter in 2009. At last year's Warwick convention he was awarded the NCRS President's Award. Kurt was a Master Judge with Red Hat. He had taken his 1972 through Top Flight, Performance Verification, Duntov Award, and two-star Bow Tie. A fine man, he will be missed by us all. Memorials established with: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and the American Cancer Society.

    I am Sorry to hear that. Curt was a true enthusiast and avid restorer. He was passionate about getting it right.

        Very sad news.
        Kurt and I had many conversations as he was readying his car for judging as mine was built only a few days after his. I had the privilege of judging his 1972 in Texas.
