Does anyone have the dimensions of the little rod that is tapped into the lower small hole on the flange of the passenger side of the water pump of a SHP motor? Do most of you install this restrictor or simply leave it out? Hope that you share your thoughts on this part and the pros and cons of use. On the same subject does anyone use a drilled restrictor in the "hot" side of the heater hose circuit to force more water through the radiator? appreciate any thoughts you have on these subjects and your experience, good or bad. Thanks!
