      Welcome to the NCRS. This is a wonderful organization full of Corvette nuts like myself. Your picture is too small to tell anything. In all honesty, you should have hired someone to inspect the pad BEFORE you bought the car (unless you got the car so cheap it didn't matter which i doubt with a 67 Vette). Post a closer up pic and i am sure you will get some opinions...but the only opinions that matter are those of the two Mechanical judges on the day your car is judged. Enjoy your new car. ARA

          Thanks Ara! Here is a closeup of the pad. I know these are not 100% judgements but I am new to this so opinions help.

              Looks good to me based on pic shown.

              Obviously, personal inspection would be better to evaluate.

                  If it has been restamped, it is an excellent job that should earn all the points at an NCRS judging. The fonts are perfect, and the grain looks very good.

                                              Probably being "Captain Obvious" here, but the VIN on the title and on the VIN plate under the passenger dash both end in "06689", right?
