Light Shields in My 1967 Clock

Does anyone know the correct orientation of the shields attached to the light bulbs for the clock shown in the photo? I have this searched the posts here but have not found anything. I don't know if the shields are even supposed to be there. They are pictured as found, so they appear to be directing the light towards the center of the clock.

    Thanks,
    Ian

    Ian,
My 67 does not have light shields for the clock. I do have a shield and a green cover for the lamp on the ouside of the clock for the radio and heater controls.

Thanks Don. These shields grip onto the glass of the bulb itself for illuminating the clock face. The "torpedo" shields for the controls are quite different.

        Ian,
When I first bought that car some one had R&R'd the clock and tried to repair it. It was visually obvious that they didn't get it back together properly.
        I had a N.O.S. clock that I installed.
I don't remember those shields and I would not have installed them or removed them (that was along time ago) my 67 does not have them.
Hope you are well and we can get out for a coffee when this pandemic is over.
        Kind regards,
        Pete

Looks to me that someone took two glove box light shields and found a new use for them. I think they are the green covers used from 64 to 67.

These were not installed on a 63.

Thanks Pete. Yes, we'll have that coffee when we can.

Yeah, they do look like glove box light shields.
