I just purchased a 57 Chevrolet BelAir Convertible (one owner). Is their an organization like NCRS for these 55-57 passenger cars where I can get NCRS type Judging manuals / Restoration Guides??

I am a member of the VCCA and find this an excellent source of technical information, both for what is stock/original and for modifications and repair. They don't have manuals like NCRS but have technical advisors for every year or group of years that are very knowledgeable. Their discussion board is very active and the posters who answer questions are very understanding of newbies like me. It's certainly worth looking into.

Not a FI It is a one owner power pack 3 on the tree Continental kit was added by dealer along with skirts. Car was delivered to France (military) and I even have the original French lisc. tag when new. Nothing special, just an old car that was driven and taken care of by a car guy --- and driven. I plan to do the same. Three generations of the Stalcup family were married in this car.

Have frame off restored several 1955, 1956, & 1957 Chevrolets. We have a 1955 Nomad in our garage next to 1967 Corvettes.

Excellent books available online by Wayne Oakley and Nelson Aregood.
