    C2 Gages

Anybody know how to test my 1965 Gas gage and my water temp gage? Dash is out of my car which makes it easy to access.

Connect a decade box (resistor source) in place of the sensors and vary the resistance to observe the meter deflections.

These articles go into all the fuel gauge details. Available in the restoration documents sticky.

Unlike C1 and C3 fuel gauges, the C2 uses a voltage divider (e.g. a powered sending unit) and so a "complete" test requires a potentiometer hopefully the articles cited above use the correct method (I haven't read them yet)

The video also shows how a gauge with missing or deteriorated dampening material acts .
