VIN # 11045 has no clips or holes for clips. This car is a restored car.

I talked last week with Jay Stahl who indicated he researched these clips many years ago. Part of his search was seeking a supplier of these little green brake line clips. He couldn't find any source for them. So as it relates to these brake line clips, I'm doubting that they were purchased and added to some post-production restoration. This survey seems to indicate that these rare brake line clips were installed at the factory between December, 1964 and February, 1965. When installed, they could appear on both sides or just one. It's a curious feature that will be mentioned in the chassis section of our upcoming 1965 TIM JG 7th ed.

Vin 4293 had one clip on drivers side and missing on passenger side. Had holes in both trailing arms of the clips. Also the remaining clip had no green paint. It was black.
