Inside the front cover of the Driveline lists all regionals at the time of printing.

Vinnie does a great job of listing those for easy reference either by paper copy or online.

Was great to see you in Frisco, hope you had an uneventful trip home.

I see the regional in Altoona, and Pennsylvania and the next weekend it is in Rochester, Minnesota. What was the reason behind this? Seems way to close for everyone involved, especially travel. One of those meets should have been scheduled in March, April, or May which would have made more sense.

The powers that be are very aware that in the end, these are too close.

To make it worse, Bloomington Gold then scheduled their meet in Bloomington IL the same weekend as the Altoona Regional. Many BG judges are also NCRS judges, leaving them in a quandary as to what to do. This is even more so if you are/were going to bring your car to Altoona for judging.

If I recall correctly, the BG judging staff gets some sort of paid compensation.
I trust that all those "conflict of interest" people from back in Feb and March '22
will choose the NCRS event over BG.

Dave...the coming events page was moved from the rear cover of the DL over 2 years ago and put on page 2. A commercial advertiser requested the outside rear cover and we were able to accommodate him.

The dates for the Regional in Ontario have been changed .The new dates will be in the next Driveline
The correct dates are Sept 14h - 16th 2023 Great location in the air power museum
The information including dates and location and registration for the Tucson Regional in March 2023 will also be in the Driveline
The answer for having the 2 Regionals back to back is a result of the Pandemic it was necessary rescheduling on avaiable dates so the Chapters did not lose their deposits We do not ususlly schedule this close together.
Keep in mind most Regionals are scheduled 2 to 3 years in advance Tucson being the exception This was a result of many members requesting a western Regional which will be a feeder for the Convention in French Lick

I too would very much like to see the website calendar be "the place" to stay current on upcoming events. I for one visit the website way more often than look in the Driveline to get information that is valuable to me... I have to think keeping the calendar current and complete on the website would be of much greater value to the membership that a calendar update just six times a year...
