Too funny Don. The seller should have listed it on BaT. The geniuses who comment on pads there would probably say it's an anomaly and that is real lol.

I'll join in on the fun ... Doesn't it look like the stamping is actually raised, not indented? If so, how the heck did they do that? Doesn't even look like a machined cast iron surface either after close examination of the picture.
That's a first for me!

As I look at it a number of times, sometimes it looks stamped, other times it looks raised ... sorta like that gold vs. blue dress picture a couple of years ago ...

Bill,

That raised look, especially of the 4 and 5, is a classic optical illusion.

The raised edge along part of the 1 is from too deep of a stamping; adjacent material mounding up.
