    1962 Fuel Injection gasket question

    Is there supposed to be a OEM gasket between the air meter and the diffuser air cleaner adapter ? Ed Bauscher

      E J, I have always used one like pictured below (CC #151003). Good luck.

          yes, a paper gasket was potent when the vet left st Louis. mike

              It was GM #7014053 but was discontinued without supercession in June, 1973. My information indicates that this gasket was of rubber material but I have no personal familiarity with it.

                  Just for clarity the picture below shows INCORRECT placement of the air cleaner adapter gasket. The CORRECT location is on the OUTBOARD side of the venturi cone support ring, for those FI units with such a thing.
