C2 Underbody Paint
Having read the previous thread on blackout, etc. my underbody was in poor condition. I stripped the undercoating and various other mess like most but had damage in the rear tunnel area that had to be repaired. The underside appeared that the glass was deteriorating so I made my repairs but elected to epoxy prime and paint. I did this for estetics and to protect the underbody. After 7 years with the body on and off I finally am getting ready to reunite the body and frame for the last assembly. I originally sprayed semi gloss black but wonder should I have painted basically the color of the bare glass. This is not a judged car even though I tried to restore everything I could as original as possible. What have others done if it wasn`t left bare glass? I have never been to any kind of show or judging event but think someone else has had a similar problem Any comments appreciated
