Re: Hello (New Guy)
Welcome to the forum and welcome to the NCRS. It is too bad you waited so long to join. If you just finished restoring your car you missed out on some of the most knowledgable sources of Corvette knowledge in the world. This forum is home to some great people who have years and years of experience restoring Corvettes and each and every one of them spends countless hours on this forum helping other hobbyists make their Corvettes the way they came out of the factory or the way you want it to be. Fortunately I have found out that restorations are never finished and you have now found the place to find out anything that you need to know. Again welcome and enjoy and contribute to the forum.- Top

Re: Hello (New Guy)
Jim,
Once you have your digital photos on your HDD, they should be cropped to 640 x 720. If they are too large, an editing program, like "PhotoImpression" lets you easily resize them.
In order to post, click on the little paper clip on the top of the tool field. This enables you to browse your HDD and download photos which are attached to your post as expandable thumbnails.

Re: Hello (New Guy)
Thank you all for the kind comments!!! But im still having no luck with resizing the photos. In the mean time ill tell you about the car.. Originally in the early 80's this was my fathers cars but had to sell do to hard times and he always regretted it,i was only 7 or 8 at the time.each year he would take me by the new owners house and say there it is,fast foward 10yrs now i can drive and im doing the same thing and there it sat for 18 yrs total in the driveway (NY) now i drive by but somthings different no plate on it im like whats going on so i went to the bank got cash and went up to him and said you bought this from my dad 18 yrs ago wanna sell it? i pulled out the cash and he said let me get the title. So i brought it home and suprised my dad and gave it to him,but i only let him drive it until winter then i gutted the whole thing and 3.5 yrs he has a fully restored 72 vette!!!! My first day out with the car i recieved 1st place at the local huge car show(paddock chevrolet) and at same show i was selected for the 100yrs annv for gm to represent 1972 for gm of the 100 best cars of western newyork, what an honor, concidering i just finished the car the night before..I am going to try and get and link page set up showing the whole resto, thanks for reading my long story,JimWelcome "new guy".
