This is the carb that was on my 67 L79 when I bought it. After fixing minor leaks and dealing with some warping issues I replaced it with a new 3810. The front bowl for sure was replaced prior to my owning as it is not correct configuration. Does the main body look like an original and what can you tell me about the numbers on the air horn? Any other comments appreciated.

both float bowl are wrong as a 67 3810 should NOT have external adjustable floats. corvette carb bowl vents should have a angle cut on top because of the low air cleaner.

The identification number and the date of manufacture are stamped into the forward vertical surface of the air horn. The three digit date code is broken down with the first number being the year of manufacture, the second number (or letter) being the month of manufacture (1 through 0 for January through October, and then the letters A and B for November and December), and the third number being the week of the month. Service parts will have four digit date codes.

Thanks Clem. Looks like this is a 3rd week April 67 unit. What do all the numbers above the LIST-3810 mean? Does this appear to be an original main body with replaced bowls?

GM part number and you will have to ask a NCRS judge about if it is a correct carb main body

The stamped part number, LIST number, and date on the air horn look OK to me - appears to be an original 3810 main body that's had the bowls and the bowl vent tubes replaced.

The stampings on the main body appear to be Typical Factory Production for a 300/350 without K19, the bowls...Naught!
