Hi all im trying to find a pic of the screw that holds the rocker mld retainer to the body its a 8-24 thread but what does the head look like is it a 5/16 bolt head or a philips pan head ? thanks Don.

assuming this is for your 65 here's what I have seen---it is a #8 screw (coarse sheet metal thread) not 8-24 (that is machine thread). It is the same screw as the windshield wiper grills and they also use the same P stamped u-nuts. They are pan head phillips screws. (This is all for a non side pipe car if your 65 has side pipes thats a different story).

That changes thinks for sure. The screw for a side pipe car is 10-24 thread with an oversized phillilips pan head. This is one of the cases that the repro is right on (LICS). Now the front hanger bolt is a different story, I posted a picture of a pair last week. They also are 10-24 thread but with a 5/16" recessed/flanged hex head. The repro's are different.
