    In 1967 did all 435s have the transistor ignition?

      Hello Mike;

      Didn't Chevrolet(GM) call them "mandatory options"?

      Like some K19s were.

      Ray
      And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
      I hope you dance

        Yes - If you ordered L-71, you HAD to also order Transistor Ignition, Positraction, and the M-21 transmission, all of which showed separately on the window sticker; they weren't part of the L-71 option, but you had to order them in order to get L-71.
