1 regret on the freshing up I did on my 68

    I used this clutch kit
    http://www.corvette-paragon.com/p-34...-assembly.aspx

It doesn't feel stiff, I don't know it's probably just fine my l36 isn't built anyway just back to stock.

But I used to drive my dads 66 vette which must have had a heavy duty clutch like a center force or something it was STOUT which that car needed it..

I haven't opened this car up yet through the gears hard it probably will be fine just feels wimpy..will be nice in traffic tho!

feels nice just wish I had put more of a performance clutch in it.
Not even sure what brand it is..anyone know what brand? Didn't notice it labeled anywhere.

Less pressure also will allow less wear on the moving parts involved in shifting gears.

The Paragon clutch kits are from LuK and Sachs, the largest OEM clutch manufacturers in the world; it'll work fine for you. You don't need a muscle-building "hot-rod" clutch.

John, glad to hear it is a LuK because from what I've read LuK was one if not the major supplier for GM clutches back in the day. So, this might be pretty close to what came on the car.

I wasn't aware of different clutch types but if the way this clutch is made called the diaphram type is as easy on the leg as this and that doesn't take away from the gripping of the assembly I am VERY pleased with it then!
