C6 taillight conversion

ok here is the thing my uncle just bought a c6 z06 (euro car)
over here in the netherlands

and we would like to change the taillights from euro to Us style
does this also involve changes to the BCM
besides the lamp unit swap and rear wiring harnas ?

i know when you go from USA to euro type it requires there be some wiring mods under the dash.
