    Patrick 90% of replacement effort is getting the bolts out. So it is a matter of going with the best data set and adding additional questions.

    I may need to nibble on the rubber or put upward pressure - jack w/ protective board - to get the weight off the mount. Ths area is tight, not a lot of room to get an expension in there a bang on it - the angle is closed, no extension.

      This mount has begun to separate (right side of pic) and should not be used even if you install a safety bolt.

        If one was only worried about engine torque breaking loose an old mount, and the throttle stick potential, then a simple safety chain or cable at the left front of the engine would give piece of mind for everyday driving (like we did back in the day at the strip). It could be attached for easy show removal, but it is hard to imagine doing this today with the limited use our Vettes get. I put the replacement interlocking mounts on my 63 L-76 nearly 20 years ago.
