    1961 #320 FI Unit Info

I am in need of a few pictures of the left rear side of a 315-HP #320-FI set up. The coil bracket, accelerator return spring bracket with spring and the capacitor bracket to the manifold.

    Thanks for any help!

Ray, I don't have a pic but I think I know why you are asking. Or I am guessing.
Mounting of accelerator return spring bracket and the capacitor.
Accel bracket is mounting so that the back side (verticle side) is up against the coil bracket.
The the capacitor bracket goes on top of that accel bracket. IT faces it so the two parts are sandwiched together.
Now here in lies a problem. Say you are forced into using all repro parts.
The repro coil brackets look real nice buttt of course they ain't made right. Mounting holes slightly offset.
61 aims. Sect 102 sheet 3.00 Radio capacitors
Has a perfect pic for you.
Tip: If you have a repro capacitor bracket you may have it take it to the grinding wheel and remove a "tad" on the slotted end that butts up against the acceler return spring bracket as if you don't the other side of the cap bracket will hit the boss sticking up on the base plate.
Logo on bolt holding the coil bracket, accel brkt and cap. brkt may be WB/1C. You didn't ask but be very careful on the bolt you use on the other side of the coil bracket to baseplate. It has to be a short one-about 1/2" long or otherwise you will be in deep trouble as the boss underneath the base plate is rather shallow and I have seen guys break these bosses or crack them and then you will have engine issues.
