I'm going through some miscellaneous parts and need the correct years for this hood latch. I'm a C2 guy so this is a little out of my area. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe from a 69' or earlier....due to the shape of the cone.

It the left side lower hood latch for 1968-E1969 Corvettes. The actual bracket portion of the latch is the same for 1968-76. However, as Doug mentioned, the lock bolt changed in very late 1969 to a "cone head" design.

Interestingly, this assembly, GM #3915811, was a PRODUCTION-only piece. In SERVICE it was only available as the separate parts (but these could be assembled into the exact same thing as the PRODUCTION assembly).
