1963 Corvette flashers

It is very common knowledge that the Tung Sol AP373V flasher (GM # 3758682) was used on 1961-1963 Corvettes as well as other models. The 1963 Corvette assembly manual also lists an optional flasher, GM # 3758683. I have always assumed that GM # 3758683 was for the Signal Stat 143 flasher. However, my 1969 Chevrolet parts catalog (effective Oct. 1968) lists the Tung Sol AP373V and the Signal Stat 143 in the description of GM part # 3758682 in Gr. 2.892. All the previous Chevrolet parts catalogs (1963, 1964, 1965, and 1966) list only the AP373V flasher for GM # 3758682. GM # 3758682 was discontinued in May 1969 and replaced with GM # 9771091. I have never seen GM # 3758683 listed in a Chevrolet parts catalog.

Does any know if the Signal Stat 143 flasher was original equipment on the 1963 Corvette along with the Tung Sol AP373V?

The 1963-64 Judging Manual lists both the AP373V and the 143 as being correct for 1963.

I always thought that the Signal Stat 143 flasher was also correct for the 63 Corvette. The Signal Stat flashers usually have a date code stamped on the side. I have a source for a NOS Signal Stat 143 flasher but the stamped date code is "T345" (Toronto, 34th week of 1965). Does anyone know if the Signal Stat flashers had a stamped date code on those flashers made in 1963 or prior?
