    Thanks Paul, I'll ask my Mom about a 1961 Chevy too. She won't remember the exact year, but she'll probably know exactly who in the family had a blue-gray Chevy at the same time as her Mom had the red Corvette.

        A couple of things;

        A Roman Red '62 with Fawn interior was not common-and pretty neat!

        The Daytona Blue '63 coupe on the album cover was Denny's. (Dennis Wilson's)

            The fawn interior is something my Mom mentions every time the subject of the '62 comes up. She really liked that color combo.

                Since we've veered a bit off-topic anyway...here is the pic of Jan Berry's '66 BB Corvette from accident that almost killed him:


                Anyone think it may be a top flight car featuring a no-hit body now? :-) j/k

                BTW, one of Jan & Dean's compilation albums (Anthology maybe???) has a table which shows what kind of car each of them were driving when each of their albums came out. All but a few of them were C1/C2 Corvettes.
