I see only one other post for this topic, so there may not be a lot of interest in my issue (let's hope this is not the case!)
The wiper override switch and light operate as advertised when the override switch is in the "freeze the wiper blades" postion, that is, wiper switch activated (low or high), wipers stop, and the override light is activated. The issue is that when the wiper override switch is in the inactive position, when I activate the wipers, the override light comes on for a very short period, then goes into a very dim setting when the wiper switch is in the low setting, and a bit brighter when the wipers are on the high setting. Do I just need to replace the override switch? If I just disconnect the switch, the override setting is positive and the wipers won't run. Is this dim lighting of the override light a normal symptom when the override switch is failing?
Thanks for the advice!
