Hello Friends,
Can I have a car judged at a regional for the first time, or do I have to have it judged at a chapter meeting first ? How about a national ?

First time at a Regional is OK. To have a car judged at a National you have to have a third flight or better in a previous judging.

I should add I am posting that from memory. I haven't been able to locate my 8th edition Judging Reference Manual in a while. I am going to have to get another one from the Cincinnati office one of these days. In the mean time I wouldn't feel hurt if someone verifies my recollection.

Terry and Vinnie are correct - National requirement is 3rd Flight or better in last 3 years.

Strongly recommend you get involved with a local Chapter if you're not already. And have your car Judged at a Chapter meet or use it for a "mock Judging" at a Chapter Judging school. Then go to a Regional.

That way you'll have experience with being Judged and the process.
