that has been around since the 60s on race cars. i believe corvette had to do it on the production cars if they wanted it on the race cars. interesting how they kept that hot air from going into the cowl vent for the A/C. i bet that took a lot of wind tunnel time

These new C7s will be electronic monstrosities, with so much complexity and training required, you better only take them to the biggest dealers.
Chevrolet told the dealers many months ago that they would have to sell at least four Corvettes per year in order to get allocations for the 2014 model - that's no surprise.

As far as I have been told, there are no Z options now (if you mean Z06 or ZR1). And won't be for several years.

I like it best in Black.
Not a huge fan of the Tail Lights, black helps blend the Back End Better.
The Chevy Site allows you to see it with different Colors and Rims
Select "Specs" at the Bottom and you can choose different views while changing colors, etc.

sounds great to me as my C-6 was that combo.

Isn't that Lime Rock Green a lot like Glen Green from the '60s?

'Reminded me of sixty-five Glen Green. I was surprised to see it and also the brighter blue I wonder what the interior colors and options will be.

I think it is a much better design than the Ferrari. I fail to see why everyone is so negative about it. I think it looks great, and as others have said 70 year olds are not, and should not be, the market they're shooting for.

Count me as one who really thinks the design team did a great job on the C7. I watched the unveiling live and have been following along on it's development. It's a heck of a car and will move the Corvette brand forward. Way too much negativity from alot of us long time Vette owners. It will never be 1967 again. My heart is with the old cars but these new ones are tremendous performers. I really like the looks both front and rear.

I guess the looks of the old ones and the performance of the new is what us older generation likes. That is what the resto-mods is all about. Picture the 67 coupe body with all the c7 under structure and drive train. I would consider buying one like that. But I wouldn't purchase the c7 the way it looks. Another thing c7 looks difficult to get in and out of. Old guys have to consider more than just looks and performance.

I guess I'll just stick with what I like and understand,.......old cars.
