Late '66 Radiator

Need some help with identifing the dimensions for the round holes on the top of a late '66 radiator. I purchased a new radiator from DeWitt's and it has the square and rectangular holes on the top of it, but didn't have the 3 or 4 round holes. I need to know the size of the holes and their location relative to one of the square or rectangular holes. Thanks for you help!

Are you sure your radiator should have holes in the top? I remember something about that posted here and maybe someone will give more info.

According to TIMJG, Early through mid production, approximately VIN 19,000 radiators do not have the two round holes. My VIN is 20529. So I assume it should have it??

sorry i cant help you Bob. maybe someone can pencil trace theirs and send it to you and you can use that as a template.

Robert,I would think if you gave Tom DeWitt your vin # he would have supplied the correct usage unit, perhaps you can exchange it? If you need a pattern for the Exact hole size and placement I could supply one. Craig

Thanks Craig. I purchased the radiator sometime ago and I supplied DeWitts with my build date, so I thought I had a correct part. Unfortunately it appears it needs this modification and it is installed in the car, so it looks like I will need to do it myself. So if you can provide me with the dimensions I need that would be very helpful. Do you know if these holes were on the bottom side of the radiator as well? Thanks for your help!
