Anyone know of a real set of 65 rockers for sale or a good repro that isn't all screwed up. i have bought multiple sets from guys claiming they have the real thing only to find that they are the usual cheap repro with the spears messed up

I have a set of 65 side exhaust mldgs. that I just took out of the GM paper I bought in the early 80s and the ends are bent . (not for sale )

thanks what I have seen is the spear showing casting indentations in the black area. the casting looks to be dented.. so far I am 5 for 5 with repros and second hand .. but at KY regional the car judged next to mine were perfect.

The only way you're going to get perfect ones is to get some NOS ones that were made BEFORE the tooling went bad. I ended up finding some for big $$$$. Reproductions are absolute garbage.

The OEM moldings were crap 25 years ago, and just got worse before they were discontinued

I have some "reworked' originals on my 65. They were straightened and polished to a smooth finish and anodized. They look very good but do not have the same finish as the originals. Just as smooth but not the same sheen/brightness. I think 1 point deduct.
