Radial Tires deduction

I'm trying not to lose too many points (66 327-350 Vert #1241) in order to pursue Duntov award. Raw score 96.5 at Chapter meet, but many easy points can be attained & in progress. I currently have repro Goldline DOT-stamped bias-plys on the car, and that was a 4 point deduction for originality. If I put repro radials on the car (for handling-- I drive the car regularly), anyone know how many total points off that would equate to? I know one solution is to have 2 sets of wheels/ tires (one for show, one for go), but that seems to be an expensive alternative.

Tires are a 30pt item including the spare, so let's assign 6pts per tire. Assuming your spare is original will leave 24pts for the remaining 4 tires. If the tires are a correct manufacturer for the time period, (Goodyear, Firestone etc.) you would lose at least 50% or 12pts for originality.

If I read the Judging Reference Manual correctly it is a 60% deduction based on the standard deductions.
