There are some issues with that door that would require body work and paint to correct, so you are going to have to do the best that you can.
There is no need to go into the door jam for any reason. The hinges are not adjustable at the mount. Remove the door panels (door cards in your neck of the woods) to access the adjustments. You need a helper to get inside the car with the wrench. Loosen the bolts, and hold the door in the position you like. Have you helper tighten a couple of bolts top and bottom. Very carefully ( since the car is already painted ) open the door to see if it clears the body without scrubbing. Look at the in out position. Remove shims to go in, add shims to go out. As for shims, the factory use a flat shim, never fiddling with individual shims. Thats all you can do at this point.
Looks to me from the pictures the door needs to go up and forward, then in at the top.
