heater box capacitor (1963 FM car) + wiring harness routing

    Hello together

I am in the middle of installing an M&H wiring harness. I just have a few questions:

    1. How should the capacitor on the heater box be connected(63 AM/FM car)? If somebody could send or post a picture of the installation that would be great.

    2. How is the expansion tank to radiator hose routed (location of clips)

    3. Does somebody have pictures of the right and left fender well of a 1963 Corvette so that I can see where I have to install the clips. I've already done some things but want to ensure that the wiring harness is correctly routed.

Connections were no problem thanks to Doc Rebuild's electrical diagram.

I also looked in the 63 AIM but sometimes it's hard to figure out.

Thank you again and have a nice day

    Ruedi

Ruedi, the expansion tank hose and wire harness on the 63's changed it all depends on which serial no your car is. from about serial no 13500 the harness and hose are routed below the hood prop on the pass. side. and after that the hose and harness are routed above the hood prop along fender line.

          Hello Ed

My car is 14508. Does this mean, the heater hose and wire harness should be routed above? If I understand you correctly. What serial number is your car?

          Thank you

          Ruedi

Ruedi, Yes your car the hose for the balance tank to radiator and harness should run along the upper part of the fender lip there should be about 3 tie wraps that the hose and harness are held by. The fender well will have 2 pre drilled holes on fender wheel and one hole drilled forward part of fender well next to radiator support. I believe You may see a pic. that I sent you of my 110600 car which is routed below the hood support.

Ed, that's good. Thank you. I noticed the pre drilled holes. they were filled on my car. I drilled them again.

              Thank you
