Tank sticker help. Picture attached

I recovered my tank sticker off my 69 Corvette. The document was very dark and I had a professional digitally enhance the original. Even with the enhancements I keep second guessing what the zone number and dealer number are. Unfortunately the shipping report for this car was unavailable through NCRS. They were missing 3 months from 1968, one being mine. Can anyone clearly make these numbers out?

Do you have any idea what state the car was originally sold and/or can you possibly make out any of the digits (or best guess) from the tank sticker?

Hi Hugh, I don't know what state the car was originally sold in. My father bought in PA in 11/1970. I believe the zone reads 32 with a dealer of 082 or 832.

Back in the day zone 32 covered maine, new hampshire and mass. no dealer 082 or 832 in zone 32. there was a zone 32, dealer 032 Bob Barrows Chevrolet, route 202 in Winthrop maine 04364. Also, no dealers in the 080's and no dealers in the 800's in zone 32.
Cannot guarantee a couple more could have come and gone but this should provide enough to look closer or try brushing away that area a little more with a very soft brush BUT test another dark area on the tank sticker FIRST with the brush so you do not disturb that zone dealer area. Good luck

Adam, first the data that is missing is for the last three months of the 69 model year. Also zone 32 was for MA and RI in 1969. Zone 43 was for the three northern NE states. There is a dealer zone 32-085 which was Brennan Chevrolet in Brockton MA. They did sell a number of high performance Corvettes, Camaros etc. Unfortunately they have been closed for a number of years.
