Hello all,
I am new to the forum and seeking any information
that can help me obtain the identify of the original owner of my 1966 427/425 coupe(Duntov Mark of Excellence award). I am the fourth owner of the vehicle and have all ownership information that pertains to the 2nd and 3rd owners. Thanks to the NCRS shipping data report, I now know that the vehicle was purchased at Dawson Taylor Chevrolet, Detroit, Mi. The car has remained in Michigan since new. I know that Dawson Taylor Chevrolet closed sometime around 1970 so they are no longer a viable resource to help me with my search. The 2nd owner purchased the car from the original owner in 1974 but is now deceased. The 3rd owner did not have any information on the original owner either. Any suggetions on how to track information on the original owner and/or sales documents would be greatly appreciated.
