      Perhaps not totally relevant but by coincidence our local paper, The Bryan/College Station Eagle ran the attached story in this past Sunday's paper. There is a nice photo of Grissom in the Corvette and some mentions of him in the article.
      Just thought you might like to see this.

            Mike, was that car a small block Glen green coupe? Was the shop CPR or Elgin,s by chance?

              I do not recall the color exactly but the interior was mostly removed. It could very well have been green because it was not white red, silver. I recall it being dark green or blue so I am confident this is the car. I checked with a fellow NCRS member who lives in my region and I gave him the approximate address and says this was Elgin's. So I am sure we are speaking about the same car. I never forgot that car because of the 2 magic words, both beginning with G. Outstanding history and yes I read the article and enjoyed it. Congrats.
