Chevy Dealers Near Colton, Calif 1968

Anyone know the Chevy dealers near Colton, Calif in 1968? My car was purchased thru the PX system of GM per the delivery letter from NCRS. I have the POP but unfortunately the POP was not imprinted with the dealer name. I know the original owner (career military man) was in the Air Force at that time and must have ordered it thru the PX system. The POP has his name and address on it showing Colton, CA. Unfortunately, the first owner died in 2004.

Or, maybe someone knows that such PX cars were delivered only thru one dealer in that area???

See attached ad from 1968, San Bernardino area about 3 miles away:
Crest Chevrolet had monthly Corvette club meetings at their facility.
Sometimes the POP has a zone and code stamp on it from the dealer

Center Chevrolet, also in San Bernardino was in business then as were DeAnza Chevrolet in Riverside and Rotolo Chevrolet in Fontana. All within an easy drive of Colton.

Thanks to all. I had a very fortunate break. The first owner died, but I found his daughter. She had a picture of her dad with the car when it was new. And...the front license plate (Calif car) had the dealer's license plate frame on it. I was able to blow the picture up enough to read it....Jack Coyle Chevrolet, San Bernardino!!!

Jack Coyle Chevrolet is now doing business as Crest Chevrolet, still in San Bernardino, but they moved locations from downtown out to the freeway about 30 years ago.

Bob, I am in to genealogy and I subscribe to Newspapers.com. I was able to find many articles about the sale, the move, pictues and the obituary for Jack Coyle. Interesting stuff. I was fortunate enough to buy a really nice original Jack Coyle license plate frame on ebay a couple months ago. Cost me an arm and leg, but worth it. Thanks again.
