I'm looking for anyone with information from the middle 1970's concerning St. Laurent Chevrolet in Sonoma, CA. It changed hands at some point in the past and is now Silveira Chevrolet at the same location. Also, i'm looking anyone with info about Sherman's Of Sonoma, a furniture store which is no longer in business.

After serving in the Navy, Bob and his family moved to California, where he worked at Parker Robb Chevrolet in Walnut Creek. In 1975, he purchased St. Laurent Chevrolet, later to become Bob Nobles Chevrolet. The dealership was awarded Business of the Year in 2002.

Thanks Rick. I'm hoping to find someone who worked at St. Laurent Chev. in 1974. My 74 Convertible was delivered there in March 74 and I bought it from the original owner in 1993. At that time it only had 16,000 miles but had traces of overspray on the left frame rail under the rocker moulding and on the charcoal canister. The original owner claimed it was not touched up during his ownership. I am trying to find out if it was sprayed at the dealership or at the factory. I am hoping if I find someone who worked at the dealership at that time they might recall the car and remember if it was resprayed at the dealership.
