I am looking for the current owner of a black 1994 Corvette convertible that was used at the inaugural Brickyard 400 in 1994. It was the car that carried race winner Jeff Gordon, his wife and Geoff Bodine (white decals GORDON BODINE on the hood) on it's pre-race parade lap. I was the original owner of this car, and have some very special items and irreplaceable paperwork that came from GM when I purchased the vehicle. The car had special unmistakable gold striping and decals.
It appears that the current owner registered the car in Chatsworth, Ga. on 12/4/2019. Anyone in that general vicinity has without doubt seen the car if it has been driven or shown at any local car events. If you live in the Chatsworth, Georgia area and have seen the car or know the owner, please contact me. I struck out with the Georgia DMV as they will not release owner information even though I can prove original ownership. I have also contacted several Georgia Corvette Clubs and have come up empty.
