Heinrich Motors in Upstate NY

Does anybody know if the Heinrich Motors in Rochester NY is the same Heinrich Motors of Lockport NY. It seems the one in Rochester shut down/changed names in the 80s and Heinrich in Lockport has been around 40 years so it makes sense it is the same ownership group. Before I jump down that rabbit hole I was wondering if anybody from the NY area knew more about this.

Trying to track down ownership history and original specs for my 1967 convertible. 194677s100277 sold from Heinrich Motors in Rochester. Elkhart Blue 327/250 4spd.

Not the same. Lockport was close to my home (when I lived in the area). Might be the same family, but Lockport still operates under that name, as you stated. I have asked locally before and was told no real connection.

I also have a car sold new in Webster, NY - Probably was street raced against yours.

Thanks a ton for that update on Heinrich. Yeah that first ad is for my car. They clearly haven’t removed all the listings they had across the web. I actually contacted the second ad as well. They put a typo on the vin number. One digit is different if I remember correctly. That car shows up on the vin directory with almost the exact same vin.

I have a 1962 Fuel Injected Corvette that sold new at the Heinrich Chevrolet in Rochester NY. The one in Lockport is owned by cousins of the old Rochester location.
