    64 L84 History Search Hovey-Dallas Chevrolet Gardena

I had recently purchased a car that was advertised over on CF. The seller (who I suspect was just flipping) did not have much to offer as far as information from a historical standpoint. It is my understanding the car came from John's Fuel Injection Service in Paramount, CA. It also is my understanding he (John) may have had it a long time.

Anyone here that knows anything about this car? In advance, I appreciate the consideration.

Tim, I think John was involved with a car that was sitting for a long time in desert by original owner, Jim G knows more about that one.

Tim, I saw that car on Craig's List and on Corvette Forum. I think it's a great find, you will be a good owner for this one.
The Shipping Report will tell you a bit more about the car.

Tim, Sorry to report that John's FI in CA passed away last Feb. or Mar.
I don't have the correct spelling for his last name. Marquete? Some one please correct this.

His friend Joe Marquez knows the car Tim. 805-929-3910

For some of you F.I. and 64 guru's, do these appear to be factory issue?

            Thanks,
            Tim

John Marquardt was a long time friend. He lost his battle with cancer earlier this year. John stored (for the owner) the 64 in question for 30 + years. After John's passing the owner (son of the original owner / purchaser) sold the car. My understanding is the 1st purchaser after John died resold it to sold to a 2nd party that then sold it to the NCRS member that started this thread.

Get the car all set mechanically, and drive it. I'll probably enjoy this car over so many of the others just because I don't have to fuss over it.
