Finding My 1967 427 in NJ

    All-
I am a new member. I own a 67 327/350 coupe with about 48,000 original miles. In 1969 I bought a 1967 Marina blue coupe with the 427/435 engine and sidepipes in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1970 I had to sell it because I was headed to Vietnam and it was too much for my wife. I sold it in New Brunswick, NJ. The Ohio license plate was 966 CD. I do not have the VIN #. I had info that it came up for resale a few years later (late 70's) at a restorers shop (I believe) in the Englishtown area. The car would have been registered in NJ in 1970. As I remember it, a young man and his wife bought it. As part of my bucket list I would love to get it back. Does anyone have info on how to look for this car? Is there a New Jersey Chapter that could help me? What do you all recommend I do to try to find it. In advance I thankyou for any and all help.

All - as I commented before I am brand new to the NCRS. Is there
another place I should be posting this on the website?
          Thanks.

            Hello Walt
No, there is no specific place on the NCRS website to post your search info. This forum is meant to trace back car ownership based on the selling dealership. The Central NJ Chapter of NCRS is active.
The contact information is listed in the list of chapters under Contacts in the large tool bar above. Here is the info I took from there.
There is an email for the chapter Chairman here.
Understand that everyone is busy now, and many members would like to find cars they owned in their youth. Without a vin no. you have a very tough search on your hands. If you leave messages, someone will very likely respond to you sometime. Good luck,
