Zone 48 Dealer 436… Anyone Know Who This is?

Looking for information on Zone 48, Dealer 436. I discovered that the shipping information is not available for model year 1969 after about serial number 31000 so I’m out of luck there.

Anyone know who this is? It’s out of the Albany, NY zone so that narrows it down a bit. If the dealership was operating under its original name, it would most likely begin “R” or “S”.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Stan, I don't see any dealer with that number in either the 1966 or 1978 database we have. Apparently a dealer that did not stick around too long. I would say the first letter was R.

Zone 48 also encompasses Vermont and dealers 435 and 437 are both Vermont dealers, as info

Paul, thanks for that… Didn’t realize that Vermont was a part of that zone. Just out of curiosity, how do you know both of those dealers (435 and 437) were from Vermont? Do you have the names of those dealers?

Looks like the name of dealer 436 will be Robert’s or Roberts in the Syracuse, NY zone (don’t know why I said Albany in my initial post). You were correct as well Mark, it started with an “R”.

Now I just need to track down that dealer.

Paul, not discounting Vermont (you’ve already proven that it was included in Zone 48), it’s just that the zone offices were located in Syracuse, NY so that’s my reference point.

Paul, I do not see any Vermont dealers who are in Syracuse zone 48. The zone for VT/NH/ME back in the late 60's is 43. I also don't see any reference to zone 48 in the ads your display. Perhaps I missed it.

NO, no ads showing dealer zones and codes, I have them in my database along with some other zone 48 Vermont dealers. Only thing I have in writing is an older RV Service Dealer directory dated 1978. I do not have en earlier one yet so don’t know exactly when zone 48 began including Vermont. I do have both those dealers in the directory but no date or paperwork comments from whence it came
