Records from Lee White Chevrolet in Redondo Beach CA?

I just received my NCRS Shipping Data Report and it tells me that the original delivery dealer for my '66 convertible was Lee White Chevrolet in Redondo Beach, CA. That dealership does not appear to still be in existence, and I can't find any reference to it either in this forum or in the dealer database. I have learned that Lee White Chevrolet apparently both employed (as a mechanic) and sponsored the late Hall of Fame drag racer Dale Armstrong back in the 1960s after he moved to California from Calgary, Alberta.

Does anyone know if any Lee White Chevrolet records are available that might provide me with additional information on the history of my C2 Corvette?

    Thanks,

    Doug Roberts (69390)

In case anyone is interested, below is a pic of my '66 convertible, which I have owned for just over 30 years.

I grew up with Lee Whites son Brad in Downey CA in the 50's - 60's, and cute younger sister. Lee was a go getter, owned a Rambler dealer in Downey 50's If I remember correctly, Toyota in San Diego. I dont remember the Chev dealer buy wouldnt be suprised if he owned on for a while.
Brads Mom ran our cub scout group, forget her name but she sure put up with a lot of our young boy nonsense, Jinney I think was her name.
All but daughter probably all long gone by now. Ravalier Street is where they live, been a few years ago, so may be off here and there, 60 years ago?? I dont imagine Lee owned the Chev dealer all that long, a Chev dealer was a hot item back then. Baher may have bought it, spent many days there, they had one of the "must go" car shows back in the day, they were a big Corvette dealer back then. Only Harry Mann bigger.

Try contacting the local library or historical society in Redondo Beach. They may have old ads or other info on the dealership/
