I’m a newbie in Pennsylvania searching for any info on my numbers-matching ’62 with VIN 20867S113079. I’ve worked backwards in time from my ownership to a now-defunct, 1-person corporation that registered it in Miami FL. in 2013. Now I am stuck. Going forward in time, the NCRS database has nothing, which I’m told is not unusual for a ‘62. A VINData search shows it has no title problems. I know it’s a long-shot but any help or tips would be appreciated!

Thanks much! I didn't have that for some reason. Any thoughts on where to go from here? I could visit the DMV next time I'm in Florida to see if I can extract more info, but dread the thought knowing what the PA DMV office is usually like...Comment

There are 2 links in that report, you might try them and see what Florida requires to release any information. With the current privacy laws they may not disclose anything, however it's worth a try. Maybe if you by chance get a helpful clerk they may at least disclose the town where it was registered. Here is a thread from the Corvette forum where a guy found his old car and purchased it back, he lists the steps he used to find it.
