1961 #43, are you out there??

I posted this one a long time back (with no luck), and I figured I'd try again. My father owned this one back in the '70's into the early '80's, I'd love to know if it is still with us.

It probably running around with #313. I have been hunting that car since the late '70's. I owned it in 1962 and '63

I believe the problem is the greater percentage of classic car owners/enthusiasts don't spend as much time glued to a computer like we do

Hmm, I have a close friend that owns a 61 that he bought in pieces and no history or docs (took him 5 years to finish it). He's not an NCRS member so I emailed him to get that VIN. Fingers are crossed guys...

Jeff - According to NCRS Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide 1961-1962 September 1960 final serial number was 101052. Serial number 104450 was in January 1961 Just wanted to bring it to your attention that it maybe a typo.

You read my mind. When I saw he had #4405 I thought to myself it seemed like a high number for so early in the model year. I emailed him back last night to confirm.

Just list it in the C1 Registry with yourself as previous owner (if this is the case) and maybe the current owner get in contact with you.

I just found out that this car does indeed still exist and is in Maryland thanks to the NMVTIS database and was titled there on 10/15/2009. Any Maryland guys here that know anyone with a '61 that purchased it in that timeframe?
