Seeking information on Zone 29 (Omaha, NE), Dealer #317 (1967)

I've been searching for information on the identity of Dealer #317 in the Zone #29 (the Omaha, NE zone). My 1967 427/390 convertible was ordered new there. It's history from new until about 1992 is unknown when it was purchased by a friend of mine in Plato Center, IL. I have serached all the Corvette, Camaro, and Chevelle resources I can think of and have not been able to determine the identity of the selling dealer.

The car is a (relatively) early production 1967 roadster (#4464). Pieced together Order Copy attached, removed from the car in 1994.

Thank you for any information and/or guidance!

It could have been ordered from one of thet big Chevrolet dealers back in the 1960's, Rosen-Novak Chevrolet here in Omaha. The dealership closed sometime in the late 1970's or early 1980's.

Nick, I too am looking for information on dealer zones, mine being zone 11. The NCRS homepage has a link to search dealer codes, but it wouldn't work at all with my inputting my info, maybe it will work for you. It's certainly worth a try. I can't read the Dealer code on the copy of my tank sticker and only can discern the zone - that being 11. But you have more info, so give it a try. I am sure some members will chime in and may be able to give you assistance. I searched the NCRS Archives for info, and many posts suggested contacting Al Grenning. He is a beyond knowledgeable gentleman, and Super nice to boot. He may be of some assistance. Good luck with your search and with your car....Regards. ARA

        James,

Thanks for the reply. I believe Rosen-Novak was dealer #750 in the Omaha Zone. From what I have read, the dealers in the #3XX range would have names starting with the letters H-K.

          Ara,

Thank you. The first thing I did when I got this particular 67 in my possession was to send a copy of my tank sticker to Al Grenning. Unfortuantely, he does not have the identity of dealer #317. The dealer/zone utility on the website does not presently work for me either, but I had tried that months back and it did not yield any information on my Dealer/Zone.
