Does anyone know anything about Nankivell Chevrolet Indianapolis Indiana. My 1969 corvette was from there. I know they were known for high performance cars and donated cars for the Indy 500. Was anyone around that area in 1969? My car was a 1969 427 corvette cortez silver gunmetal grey interior ragtop. If anyone knows anything about the dealer or the car let me know.
Big time high performance store. They sold #38 green/green ZL1 that I'm still kicking myself for not buying about 10 years ago. They sold some serious performance cars.
I was reviewing old post and found this, I know of a MB Nankivel in Shelbyville Ind. if this is it I maybe able to help you out quite a lot, my brother was the parts manager there for quite a while in the late 70's, I still have a wooden yard stick from there as well
