Anyone heard of Mason Chevrolet, Kennett Square PA.

A late April production date, and a PA title issued 6/24/66.

Mason Chevrolet dealership sold to an unknown owner, then to a Bill Luke, and about 10 years ago Bill sold to to the current owner.

Anyone know people from Mason Chevy Olds?

Could they have transferred the car to Reedman Motors between May and June of 1966(?), given the car has a Reedman Motors sticker in the glove box?

Car has a Title 1 transfer date of August 4, 1969.

Someone in Delaware Valley - know who purchased this car in 1969?

Red Vert 427 390 and two tops when new.

wow, should have could have stayed on that lead, he was the guy to talk to it sounds.

Paul, thank you for forwarding, about 5-7 years ago I got his name, researching the history of that dealer, but the family was not giving me contact info, there were two brothers, and the other's son I did talk to, that side of the family seemed not so happy with the sale by the father. The wife of one of the grand sons said GPA had records and would get back to me, subsequent calls went unanswered so I gave up

Very good chance your car was traded to Reedman. This was a regular practice back then.

Paul, it did, it has the Reedman sticker in the glove box, but a 69 title I found on the web, and the used car prep practices at the time (aka Herb Jr) would be consistent with a used car passing through the Reedman sales machine. Other suggestion was the Kennett Square was short pickups and could have traded it for two of those. Build date to title date also suggest it sat for a month plus before being sold, hard to say and time slipping away to find any trail of the OO.

Adding a little to trigger the memory cells, I believe it was Mason Chevy Olds, a dual dealer, any one have trivial from Eastern Pennsylvania to show this?
