    Tim Buck Twoo Chevrolet

Is this forum now being turned into a lost and found Chevrolet Dealership column??

I wonder if the NCRS people expected this can of worms.

It will probably settle down after the initial wave of info. I find it interesting. Looking forward to receiving mine although all info is known or is it?

I too have most of the data on my 63, primarily due to it being originally purchased by me. However, the original dealer went out of business long ago and I could not find their dealer code and zone information. I dug into it a few years back including phone calls to the dealer city's Chamber of Commerce and eventually found what seems to be correct data. I still ordered the package from NCRS just as a verification of what I have. I empathize with those who have very little to go on to document their cars and will do my best to tolerate their mission on this forum.

I agree with Stu that it is tolerable for now, it's also kind of fun to watch. It might even help someone who can get together with someone else looking for the same dealership, i.e. "Me" when I get my information.

If it starts getting out of hand I wonder if the Forum Gods would consider setting up a separate forum just for this topic.

BTW - Found Tim Buck Twoo Chevrolet, it was recently closed in the cutbacks. It was just down the street from Goneforever Oldsmobile and across the road from WeRgonetwo Pontiac. They now sell Kia's, DKW's, Borgwards, and Trabants.

                Re: Tim Buck Twoo Chevrolet

Most of the long lost Chevy dealers got the late 80's theme "Heartbeat of America" slightly misspelled - heartbreak, if that didn't kill them, nobamanomics eliminated the remaining smaller businesses.

Years ago, in the motor city capital there seemed to be a dealer on each major street corner, now they are mostly empty buildings.

Even with the left turn I have with this data, I'm glad its there.
